In the beginning, there were few...

More followed where only few had been...
And collectively, they reached where few others had gone...

Their final, hard fought journey yeilded them a victory!
Welcome to the home of the Leimert Park Chargers Future League Football Team. The team is a division of the Leimert Park Chargers Organization, and the Organization is a member of the Snoop Football Youth League.
I will bequeath my adieus/farewell to the season in a wrap-up post after our future leaguers/leaders wrap-up their triumphant journey of the season at the Home Depot Center on Sunday. I will focus more on why we do what we do as parents and coaches and leaders to help cultivate, evolve and rear our children in a civic and culturally responsive fashion. Please come and show your support to all the teams participating in this final road for championship.
We will start off the day with a showcase of
our future, with an “All Conference” game between the “White” and “Blue” side flag players.
Mid-day will be the Scholastic Awards presentation and recognition of all participants in the essay contest.
All sponsored by Cutters Glove!!

One of my best-est and my guy!
And prepare for a wedding in the mountains @ Spencers in Palm Springs, and a pool party afterwards!

For some reason, despite sporting my vintage-styled Chargers Tee, the competition insisted that I take pictures of them! And, being of stellar quality and good sportswomanship, I obliged. So I bequeath these photos to you. Of course, it's all good--these are all of our babies, no matter what jerseys they sport!

It felt like "...been here before". Oh, yeah---we have. You might Recall: the 2006 Rose Bowl game. Now recall the key players: Reggie Bush and Vince Young. Recall a bit more: Burgundy & Gold vs. Orange & White...you know USC vs. the Longhorns!
